SPYDRS - Encouraging young talent
Starlight Players Youth DRama Society is a dedicated Junior section of the Starlight Players, formed in 2003.
Juniors (from age 6 up to 11) meet 10am-11.30am, led and supported by 3 members of the adult society.
Seniors (year 7 upwards) is now run solely by the older teenagers themselves (Tom, Gethin & Hannah). They meet socially at 11am for a cup of tea and chat, then have a drama session from 11.30am-12.30pm.
Each session still £1 per week
Feedback has been very positive with an increase in members evident, both new and those who have been tempted back.
