Annie Junior
A week long workshop for "Annie Junior" will be held in the Society Headquarters on May 23/24/25/26/27/28/29/30th followed by performances in the evening on May 30th and June 6th in the Memorial Hall Criccieth Curtain up 7-30pm. Preceeded by a "Annie" workshop day on 8th March at Headquarters from 10am -5pm for anyone interested in taking part.
Comic Relief
"The Mamma Mia night was a huge success, lots of food, 70's costumes and lots of fun! and we raised over £130 for Comic Relief. Its great when we all get to meet socially and am looking forward to many more get togethers Thanks to all, especially to Kate for arranging it". Guys & Dolls
The SPYDRS performed "GUYS & DOLLS" as the second half of The Gaynor Owen School of Dancing Bi-Annual Show. Talk about X-FACTOR! the talent we have discovered made this a showa great success.
Performances were held on 17th/18th April Memorial Hall Criccieth and the 15/16th May in Dolgellau. Photos will be available soon.
"Keep Fit Dance with Kate"
Restarts 4th Sept Thurs nights 7-45pm. Contact Kate if you wish to attend. Kate will lead a fun exercise and dance class for an hour. Men & women of all abilities. Will include a warm up, aerobic session, floor exercises, dance routines and cool down.
Member Numbers Rocket ...
Membership of The Starlight Players has grown tremendously over the last 15 years. Currently we have almost 100 members and the society is at it's most popular. Spydr membership has trippled in numbers since it started in 2003, increasing our young cast of budding starlets to 30.
If you wish to be part of this exciting and fun loving group, then please either come along to the Criccieth Squash Club on Saturday mornings, during rehearsals on Tuesday and Sunday evenings or apply to join online here. We have a variety of talents, from directors to actors to lighting and sound technicians, from makeup and costume to set building and publicity. All talents are needed in a group such as this. So if you feel like treading the boards or wielding a paintbrush then Starlight Players is for you!
