Rapunzel

"Rapunzel", written by Starlight Player members, sisters Kate Parry & Karen Dolan-Smith, was a great success in January 2008. The show got the whole audience on their feet with great humour, fantastic songs and a colourful cast.

The costumes designed by Sue Cooper and produced by herself and her band of seamstresses were wonderful and captured the mediaeval period perfectly the cast of 50+ were enthusiastic, energetic and looked as if they were enjoying the panto as much as the audience did.

The SPYDRS junior group of Starlight Players showed that they were more than capable of holding their own on stage and performed several songs and scenes of their own. It was great to see the older children joining the adult chorus which performed some great numbers."
